Co-Parent Counseling

What to Expect
Talk about a minefield. Working adults who struggle to work together as they navigate one of the more challenging tasks in this life: parenting. This is perhaps the therapy where my heart feels most led to. Having been through a divorce, and working through my own co-parenting situation, which at times has been high-conflict, I know a thing or two. I have worked with many people, as they navigate the rough waters of having a blended family. What's awesome? Is when those people come to a place of peace about their situation and an understanding that they ultimately share the same goal: To raise their child the best that they can. What's problematic? Is when they don't see eye to eye with either their former spouse or their current spouse on how to parent a situation or how to communicate with one another. That's where therapy comes in. Improving communication, finding forgiveness, and forging a new path forward. That is what therapy can do.
